The Asus Eee Pad Transformer tablet is one of the many contenders in the Android based tablet market. Asus has been making PC components such as motherboards for years and has also got into the PC market and has their own line of netbooks as well that share the Eee naming convention.
One unique feature of the Transformer tablet is its optional keyboard docking station which offers a full QWERTY keyboard and touchpad turning the tablet into a notebook\tablet hybrid. The keyboard offers unique Android Function keys as well as a 3.5mm audio jack, two USB ports and a built in SD Card reader.

Battery life of the Transformer is respectable at 9.5 hours and 16 hours with dock. Also included are features like a 178⁰ viewing angle screen made from scratch resistant glass, Adobe Flash 10.2 support, and 3D stereo with max bass response and SRS premium sound.
Preloaded on the Transformer is Polaris Office 3.0 which allows you to edit various types of office documents including documents (.doc), spreadsheets (.xls) and presentation (.ppt) files. The ASUS Launcher allows you to easily launch software, manage content and access online services and connect devices with a few taps.
ASUS also has its own line of applications to make the most out of your tablet experience. MyNet streams digital media wirelessly within home network devices while the MyCloud app provides access to digital content such as music, videos and files from the cloud whenever you need them as well as lets you remotely access your PC or Mac. MyLibrary consolidates downloaded books, magazines and newspapers making them easy to get to from one place. Finally, ASUS Sync lets you sync your contact list and calendar between your tablet and your PC.
