How To Set Safari Homepage on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

Mobile Safari Homepage Setting Doesn’t Exist!

While not strictly a setting but more of a workaround, you can cleverly create your own Safari homepage or even multiple ones on your iOS device.
If like me, you keep the Safari app icon in the dock for quick access try replacing it with the homescreen icon for a page you really want when you open Safari.
Here’s how to do it:
1)  Open Safari
2)  Enter the URL to the page you want as your Safari homepage
3)  Tap the Sharing icon on the lower toolbar
4)  Tap Add to Home Screen
5)  Name it Safari (or whatever you want) and tap Done button
6)  Now tap and hold the original Safari app icon until all icons start wobbling
7)  Drag the original Safari app icon out of the dock
8)  Drag your new Safari app icon into the dock.
Now anytime you launch Safari through your new icon your favorite homepage will be displayed in either a new page or an existing page if you already have that address open in Safari.
The only hitch here is that the icon on your springboard won’t be the blue Safari icon.

Any ideas how to fix that?  Let us know below.
