MyWeather Mobile - Android App and Game Tips and Tricks

In the battle for app supremacy there are many weather applications out there that you can download for your Android device. Weather apps are one of the most popular tools used by smartphone and tablet owners. You can use them to get current weather as well as future forecasts and see live motion weather maps of your area. Plus some have the option to have several locations stored within the app if you want to track the weather in more than one place. Some of them even use your GPS and change the apps location to match where you are.
But what good is a weather app if it's not accurate or doesn't give you the information you need? If you have more than one weather app you may have noticed that some have features that others don't and they never seem to be consistent. The MyWeather Mobile app claims to be 6 times more accurate than the other apps. It uses your GPS and syncs with your MyWeather.com settings to give you more accurate weather readings for your location.
MyWeather Mobile also allows you to have multiple weather locations so you can know what the weather is in places you would rather be. There is also a temperature reading in the notification bar to keep you constantly up to date and tapping on the notification will open the MyWeather app. If you live in an area where you would need weather alerts you can setup MyWeather to send text messages to your devices for severe weather notifications.
The MyWeather Mobile app is broken down into several categories. The first section shows the current weather conditions and allows you to see more detailed information by tapping the arrow next to the temperature. Doing so will show things such as wind speed, humidity, and the high and low temperature for the day.

The 10 day shows you information about the forecast for the next 10 days and is broken down into day and night time weather. The News section shows you news stories related to weather events around the country. Finally the Alerts section will show severe weather alerts for your area. This is the same information you can get messaged to you if you sign up for SMS alerts.
You can download the MyWeather Mobile app for free from the Android Market. Signing up for an account is optional but if you want to sync with the myweather.com website you will need to create one.
