One of the most highly anticipated smartphones to come out in a long time is the Samsung Galaxy S2. It's the big brother to the original Samsung Galaxy but is in a whole other class. It offers many new and advanced features making it a top seller in the world of Android smartphones.
The Galaxy S2 looks great with its 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display which is even better than the highly rated Super AMOLED display offered on other Samsung devices. It provides enhanced readability, a slimmer design, and improved battery life. It also has an ultrafast response time to help you play your games and watch videos. The Galaxy S2 is a sleek phone with an ultra slim form factor and an easy grip. It also comes with the 3D TouchWiz UX which adds to the experience with a futuristic user interface.
Other Galaxy S2 features include:
Live Panel is Samsung's new customizable UX. It is a magazine style layout that selects content that you use the most such as pictures, videos, music, email and games etc. and then displays them on your home screen. This can be customized to your preferences and provides easy access to what you use the most.
Readers Hub lets you scan through your library of books or browse over 2 million available books that you can choose from. Other features include access to over 2,500 magazines in 20 languages and 2,000 of newspapers in 47 languages.
The Galaxy S2 features point to point Wi-Fi communications that connect using device to device wireless connections without the need for a wireless access point.
The new Kies 2.0 enables the Galaxy S2 to sync with a computer using a Wi-Fi network for PIM backup, subscribing to contents, and multimedia content sharing.
AllShare lets the Galaxy S2 link wirelessly with a PC, TV or audio system so you can access your music and videos directly from your phone. AllShare uses DLNA to synchronize the phone with a compatible DLNA device.
