Nexus S Smartphone - Android Hardware Tips and Tricks

The Google Nexus S is the next smartphone from the Nexus line and the first phone to run the Gingerbread operating system. The Nexus S has a lot of nice features that make it a real competitor in the Android smartphone battle.
The Nexus S offers features such as being able to be a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to six portable devices such as laptops or tablets. It also offers a refreshed user interface with a black notification bar that's easier to read, an improved keyboard and near field communication (NFC) support. It seems like everyone is offering front and rear facing cameras and so does the Nexus S. Other improvements include one touch word selection and improved copy and paste functionality as well as a dedicated Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). This allows you to play games, watch videos and browse the web with increased speed and smoothness.

The screen also blocks glare from the sun and they claim that there is 75% less glare than on other smartphone displays.
Other impressive features include the ability to place VoIP Internet calls with a SIP account. And if you want to use the Nexus S on your network then it shouldn't be a problem since it comes unlocked right out of the box.
