Droid Charge - Android Hardware Tips and Tricks

The Samsung Droid Charge from Verizon is the First LGE (Long Term Evolution) 4G Droid branded smartphone. The 4G network claims to be 10 times faster than 3G but is not supported in all areas yet. The Charge features a Super AMOLED Plus display which boasts clearer images and sharper colors plus a slim design making it easy to hold and fit in your pocket. Another nice feature is the capability to be a mobile hotspot that can support up to 10 devices on 4G & up to 5 devices on 3G.
The Charge comes with integrated Google Mobile Services, Microsoft Outlook Exchange contacts & calendar as well as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Windows Live!, AIM and Yahoo integration. If you are an avid reader there is also an integrated Amazon Kindle Reader. It also includes DLNA capabilities via AllShare. This lets you share music, photos and videos with other DLNA compatible devices. Plus it comes with ThinkFree Office which lets you access your documents from anywhere on your phone. The Charge has a battery time of up to 660 minutes with standby time of up to 280 hours.
