Motorola Droid 3 - Android Hardware Tips and Tricks

The Droid 3 is the next model in the popular Droid line of Android smartphones by Motorola. There was of course the original Droid which started the whole Android craze as well as the more recent Droid 2. The Droid 3 offers more in the way of power and features than previous Droid models with a dual core processor and qHD display. It features a slide out QWERTY keyboard like previous models which is thinner than the others and offers 5 rows of keys.
The screen on the Droid 3 is made of a scratch resistant material called Corning Gorilla Glass and features an anti glare coating. Front and rear cameras are also part of the new smartphone as well as the ability to capture 1080p HD video that you can play back on your TV via an HDMI output. One downside is that the Droid 3 is only offered in 3G connectivity rather than 4G for now but it can act as a mobile hotspot for other devices. Another nice option is DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) capabilities that let you share content wirelessly with other DLNA equipped devices. There are also many accessories you can add to the device such as Bluetooth headsets, a wireless keyboard, and Bluetooth speakerphone among others.
