Charge your mobile on the go with the Pebble Charger

Problem

If you have an Android device, you run out of battery! That’s the truth. There’s no two ways about it, Smartphone batteries don’t last.
Most of the time you can bring a charger cable with you and charge your phone when you get to places such as work. What if you are travelling and have no access to a computer or plug?

Solution

Pebble Charger is a great device that I have been using for nearly two years now. The Pebble Charger is palm sized, don’t let that put you off it though. The little device has a 5000mah battery inside it. That’s around 4x the size of your smartphone battery. In theory then, the Pebble Charger should charge your smartphone 4x. In reality, the device only charges my smartphone about 2 to 3x. That’s still great though, Imagine having 3x the battery life by just carrying a small, light device that isn’t much bigger than your smartphone.

Pros

  • Extra battery – Sometimes you want your battery to last longer than half a day. The pebble charger is a life saver when you don’t have access to a plug or usb.
  • Portable – For the amount of extra battery you receive, the pebble charger is very small and light which makes it very portable.

Cons

  • Cost – At £20 – £40 the pebble charger isn’t a fortune, it is an extra cost on top of your pricey device though.

Conclusion

If you ever feel the need to charge your phone when you are not near a power source then the Pebble Charge is for you. You could take an extra battery but to get the same amount of battery power you would need to buy two extra batteries and charge all three separately.
