Quick Tip: Try the updated Android Marketplace website

Google have just announced updates to the Android Marketplace website. Almost immediately they launched the updates on the website.
The updates are minor but they make it much easier to find good quality apps and games on the Marketplace. The new Marketplace website now has lists such as Trending, Top New Paid, Top New Free, Editors Choice and Top Grossing. The Android Marketplace is very large, 2nd largest mobile app store in fact. This means there is a huge amount of choice but it can be very difficult to find the good quality apps. These new lists make it much easier to discover great apps, even if you don’t have a specific app type in mind.

Other updates that will come later have been announced at the I/O conference including:

• Personalised app recommendations.
• The paid Android Market increasing to 131 countries from 99.
• Max app size will increase to 4gb from 50mb. This will mean that we will see some proper games getting launched for the device.
